Welcome to Gluckstadt Forge

Gluckstadt Forge is located in west central Mississippi. Once a farming community, settled by German immigrants in the 1800's, Gluckstadt (Lucky City) is now in the center on one of the fastest growing areas in the southeastern United States and home to the Gluckstadt Forge.
This site is under construction and will continue to change. Be sure to visit us frequently.
With
roots in developing traditional blacksmithing skills for decorative iron work,
Gluckstadt Forge has ventured into metal work in general. Combining the best
features of metal, glass, water and wood gives an artist plenty of room for
creativity.
We are not really interested in doing production type work. Since this is more of an obsessive hobby, the goal is to meet the challenges of testing the possibilities.
If you have a special project, give us a call. If we can't do it alone we can draw from the finest blacksmith/metal/wood and water artists in the area.
